List of 50 States in the United States All the states in the United States

It might seem like a list of 50 states is just for elementary school kids.  After all, all United States citizens know this right?  You probably think you know all of the states names until you actually look at a map & wonder, "Umm is that really a state?"  On an episode of the hit TV show Friends, Ross couldn’t come up with a list of 50 states & he played a college professor.  Here is a list in alaphabetical order.

See how many you get right.  This is also a fun game to play on long car trips or even if the conversation is lagging at a dinner party.  Give bonus points if the person knows the state capital.
